Scoring & Combos
Your score increases as you travel further through the forest
Collect golden seeds for +10 points multiplied by your combo bonus
Special cyan/purple seeds appear in Year 2 — these award 2-5 boost charges at once
Thread close to branches for near-miss bonuses of +5 points
Chain seeds and near-misses to build a combo multiplier — watch the orange timer bar next to your boost meter
The combo bar shows your remaining time to keep the streak alive — if it hits zero, your multiplier resets to 1×
Collectibles & Fireflies
Collect firefly clusters — completing a full cluster awards +1 boost charge and builds a streak bonus
Chain clusters without missing to build your firefly streak — each successive cluster adds 25× your streak multiplier
Intelligent Spawning: Firefly clusters and seeds are spaced out to provide clear "quiet zones" for easier navigation
Rare golden leaves appear after distance 1000 — collecting one instantly refills all boost charges to maximum
Max boost capacity increases by +1 for every full Year (800 points) you survive
Wind & Seasons
The forest cycles through spring → summer → autumn → winter every 200 points
Autumn Shift: Watch the canopy change organically leaf-by-leaf as you transition seasons
Updraft zones give extra lift; Downdraft zones push you down — curl to cut through or boost to escape
Obstacles
Branches get closer together and gaps get tighter as the game speeds up over time
Sway Leeway: After Year 1, branches begin to sway. Collectibles are mathematically placed to ensure they are always reachable regardless of tree movement
Dark birds appear after score 400 — time your dives carefully to dodge them from behind
Performance
If the game runs slowly, switch to Low Quality in Options
Optimized Engine: Performance mode reduces foliage density (12 leaves per branch vs 18) to save memory on older devices
